Controller
The controller for processing your data under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) is Markus Roth, Obermatt 9A, 5105 Auenstein, Switzerland (see imprint). Send questions about data protection to info@simonandthecats.ch.
Visiting the website
The website is hosted by Metanet AG in Zurich, on servers in Switzerland. Each time a page is requested, the server stores technically necessary information in log files:
- IP address
- date and time
- page requested and previous page
- browser and operating system
This data is used only to run and secure the website. We do not analyse it or pass it on. It is kept only as long as necessary for that purpose.
YouTube videos
The concert videos load only when you click «Play medley» or «Watch the full set». Until then, there is no connection to YouTube.
After the click, the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube then receives your IP address and details about your browser, among other things. If you are signed in to Google, Google can link the request to your account. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may also process the data in the USA.
The link «Watch on YouTube» goes directly to YouTube. In both cases, Google’s privacy policy applies.
Enquiries by email
When you write to us, we use your details (name, email address, content of the message) only to answer your enquiry and send you a quote. We do not pass them on to third parties. We delete them once we no longer need them, unless we are required to keep them, invoices for example.
Your rights
You can ask at any time what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted. Write to us at info@simonandthecats.ch. If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Changes
If anything changes on the website that affects data protection, we will update this page.
