Accessibility statement

Our goal

This website should work for everyone, including with a screen reader, with a keyboard only or with enlarged text. Our benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.

Status

Based on our testing, the website largely meets WCAG 2.2 AA. The exceptions are listed below.

• All content can be used with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and the «Skip to content» link jumps past the navigation.
• Text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background, including over photos and videos.
• All photos have descriptive alternative text.
• The background videos can be paused with the button at the top right of the home page. If «Reduce motion» is set on your device, they do not play at all and animations are switched off.
• The pages adapt to screens from 320 pixels wide and to zoom up to 400 % without horizontal scrolling.
• The language of each page is declared, and German terms are marked as German so screen readers pronounce them correctly.

Known limitations

• The video player comes from YouTube. We have no control over its accessibility.
• The concert videos have no captions. The titles of the tunes are listed as text in the setlist below the video.

Testing

Tested on 29 September 2026: automatically with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA, and by hand (keyboard use, contrast, display on smartphone and desktop).
